Well another hour and a half or more wandering around last night. Pretty poor haul!!
One cool find though is a New Zealand Field Artillery hat/shoulder badge. That be from WW1 and although I have found a few styles of these badges, this is the first NZFA one.

Pleasant evening for a hunt with kev and number8wire.
Hard work as usual but pleased with 5 silvers including a great little 1910 Aussie threepence.
Keep getting out there lads, happy hunting!

Time to get back into it!
Been away in OZ for a couple of weeks-took the GoldBug and used it for 15mins in a park for $6 woop! haha!
Also got to catch Poohbear and Chrispy for a hunt last Sat and scored 5 silvers and a once gilt brooch.
The next day, Sunday, on my way home from a drive over to Pigeon Bay I stopped for a 20 min hunt in fading light and managed to unearth an ANZAC medalette! Very fitting discovery. My second one just like this, and also a nice little thruppence to add to the collection.
Cant wait for a hunt in better conditions weatherwise over the next couple of nights after work!
Hook me up if ya keen!
