Been working a new area for me lately-finding an absolute shitload of pennies/halfs and 1 and 2c buggers etc! Only 3 silver coins tho.
Have had a couple of nice finds including the 1880 HCrown I posted a while back. (better remind myself to post a photo of an awesome little medalette I found!)

Anyways, here a coupla silver rings-one nice big chunky wavy style one, a snake ring which I absolutely love (has three hallmarks I need to decipher) and this ring that has a 'bee' type mark. I think this is the second one with that mark I have found-anyone able to i.d it? Love to know if ya can help!!

Hey kiwisouth, nah is more simple than that-its in the second photo if you squint and turn ya head sideways haha.

Maybe not a bee-perhaps a butterfly?

Out after work last night for a mish with coinnut so he could get some time in with his new machine.
I ended up with a threepence, sixpence and an 1896 shilling (oo yea), and a nice blue enamel sterling brooch, but best find was a beautiful looking 15 carat GOLD ring weighing in at 5 grams. Fricken stoked! Thats two 15 carats GOLD rings in a row! It has "Jones and Sons" stamped plus the "15c." Had three stones (prolly diamonds but they're gone-even had a look through the dirt for them!) so it woulda been a awesome piece back in the day.

Now the funny bit-I gave it a cleanup last night to bring it to work to take a good photo, put it in my pocket this morning, get to work-oh oh, nothing in my pocket but the hole at the bottom haha! IRONIC. Anyways, shoulda dropped in my house or drive hopefully!

Ha thankfully I did find it again in the drive! Just can't find any info on "jones & sons" dammit. When I put the ring with my others I realised just how yellow it is even compared to the last 15 carat ring. It's amazingly yellow!

A good little hunt after work last night. Stoked to get 4 silvers-the 1913 3d looked brand new straight outta the hole!
Best find was a 1911 Farthing- around two inches deep beside a tree.....

Ive had a good run silver-wise on my last two outings-The top 4 are silvers from a well hunted tree area of Hagley-I didnt bring it to photograph it but I also found a new first for me-a 1916 French 10 centimes-looks just like a penny.
The other 8 silvers are a bit poorer in condition from another place. A really cool find from there also was a beaut Victorian looking sterling pendant. The strange characters on each side of the disc had me perplexed for a while! The disc spins around and when you spin it fast it reveals the words "I love you". Amazing piece I reckon.
