For Sale=Lesche digging tool. Used only one hunt.
You can buy this magical tool for a one time payment of just $199.99.
haha, got it a few days back (cheeeers rgmmcbrid of puiaki.co.nz !) and first time using it today meeting oroplata and expat for a hagley hunt, and joined later by coinnut. Actually got used to it pretty quick. Great tool.
It graciously retrieved these beautys!
Theres a 1946 half crown, a 1921 half crown, a sixpence and a 925 ring with stones.
The pin badges are a RAF with nice enamel and a peacock type bird possibly a brooch?

Bugger. Typed up a post and lost it as things went funny with the site or my pc!
Anyways met up with number8wire and l0gic for a hunt down at north hagley.
After l0gic predicting GOLD rings I get a slamming signal so I dig down about 7 inches get the propointer in the hole and its screaming. I pull a clump of dirt out and nearly have a heat attack from the gold coloured ring with sparkles! DOH! Just plated and prolly not even real diamonds ha.
But did score two silver rings and three nz silvers. Also a weird cylinder that unscrews-dunno what it is-didnt even have anything in it!
A key that says Wilmot Union Breedon may be oldish.
Twas another great night for detecting and cant wait to get out again-may just have to wait a few days...

Oh yeah! Attached is a photo of an old blob of lead that turns out to be a cool thing of a person on a horse! Cool! Gt that two days ago.

Man what a wild night!
Was at hagley about 630pm and it was nice and warm, bit of a breeze that came and went but great detecting weather!
About 930 it absolutely started blowing its tits off as we all know-man dust everywhere, branches cracking off woah!! Me and coinnut called it quits then haha!
Had a good run on sixpences- got three in close vicinity to each other which helped the tally. Also a cool Acme Thunderer brass pea whistle. Cleaned it out and it goes good!
Have been out a coupla times lately but just piling the finds up so must get them cleaned and sorted and post up a pic or two.
Possibly got a 1796 minted George 111 guinea gaming token but it may be a later copy...

Haha, you're keen.. I head the weather warnings and thought it best to make it a TV night.. I was tempted though it didn't look like it was going to get too bad for quite a while there.

I found one of those big rings in Hagley the other day too, wonder wha they're for?

Well heres this old thing.
Actual date is 1790 but I dunno much about these, whether it was minted in 1790 or possibly a later copy. A few fullas out there know a bit about these! Hey Shane...found it in Kaiapoi.

Well on location last night at south hagley.
had a good variety of finds-pretty hard slog tho.
Great stuff with a florin, a really cool sterling ring with hallmarks (dunno anything!), a cool old 1870 token, a USA dime, a 1911 French 10c to name a few. About 3 1/2 hrs work!
