hi all been a super month,
local beach still producing,
been hard out looking for
gems and gold of course,
still not rich from my finds
yet so heres some pics.

some fantastic finds there crisyboy...did you find those guns with your detector?.....i havnt found a whole one yet...lots of pieces but never whole..hahaha

You are sure finding some quite unusual items up there

got them from a junk collector.sorry havnt been
posting much but the wife had a baby girl today

1962. Hard to find them silver florins...
A few 1947 coins in the mix which is not a good year for detectorists as all our silver coins were minted from then on in cupronickel. Theoretically missing the silver by one year
I like the small buckle (hope it's not a fetish coming on...). I have a similiar one which is one of my favorite finds.

Yeah. If there's ONE coin I hate digging up it's a 1947 half crown.

Hmmm. I thought that the Half Crown was minted with silver (here in NZ) up until 1949.

Nope the half crown went copper nickel in 1947 BUT they issued a FULL crown in 1949 that was 50% silver.

went to limestone island for a fossick,
got some nice agates.crystal i think is
calcite?fluorite?
