the fork is chromium plated nickel/silver dont know
how much silver if any it contains hope somone got any info,
the button is glass, its really cool, found at an old house site,
with other metal pics,
the ring was found in Hamilton whilst combing through the
trees i found this ring and a few good coins, wasnt finding much
and then i saw a young lady with her hands on the ground with her
face looking at the dirt so i figured thats why i wasnt finding much
as i got closer i realised her man was behind her goin for it,
(doggy style) i just keeped on detecting like i didnt see anything
i was so embarresed i felt like a dirty old perve.

Tree's have given me all my best finds! except that 18k gold ring that was in the grass. But all my good coins have been under trees... it makes sense though as you can't have an old tree in a recently developed area. trees can be a good indicator of the age of the area that you are searching... lots of old tangly trees means a nice spot to find old coins and such... trees are also the place were people go to get out from the sun so your chances are higher around trees too... but there is usually alot more rubbish around them too.

I always check the trees first ;) Good Finds there crisyboy!

it also depends on when the park was developed....i hunt one around my area in walking distance...there are some real big trees there but the park itself has only been there for 30 years and the kids play area only for 1 year..
