Yep the 250 is a great little machine. Lots of fun and great finds.
I have kept mine as a backup for the E Trac
and also for my kids to use too.

You sure are getting a mix of finds Chris.

Your right about the Morton Bay fig - one good thing to come out of Aussie eh.

of each other,3x fun ho,1x matchbox, also done the local
scout hall again and hit a nice scout badge and spoon,
just finished cleaning looks like silver the badge has
silver stamped on back.the spoon has a engraving on
the handel and stamps on back, come up really nice
found under the eves of hall in dry hard soil with heaps
of coins, and heaps of junk just goes to show you have to
keep on digging if your in a good spot.

That Fun Ho stuff is good. Every time I take the kids to their grandmothers, they get to play with toys that belonged to their uncles and they are in their 50's now. The roller and the fire engine definitely look familiar. The scouting stuff you have been finding reminds me that I need to revisit the Scout Den in town. Lots of old trees and a play ground. Very shaded so the ground will still be soft in parts, makes for easy digging and i haven't been back their with my pin pointer.

Excellant finds Chrisyboy, That roller is choice and that badge sure beats the one i found the other day.
Sure glad we stopped at that spot on the way back from yours. I buzzed a small section of it yesterday and it was a glory lane of old coins dating back to 1910. Got a good variety with only one silver, 1933 3p. Pennys, a half penny, a florin, a shilling, a sixpence and two threepence. There will be a GOLD soveriegn there somewhere.

wow inspired by everyones awsome finds lately,
done some research and hit a very old spot,
an old guy turned up and give me a history lesson
about the area invited me to his house and gave me a piece
of petrified, opalised wood and put me on the spot.
hit a good run of lead and brass/copper,apparently
there was 2 ship wreacks on the shore so found heaps
of nails.cracked a 1902 edward v11,1916 3d,andheap of assorted
pennies and decimal, then with my eye tuned in i picked up a piece
of petrfied wood and a awesome looking green rock with a fossil
on/in it.then found a little silver piece sitting on top and allsorts of
metal bits and bobs, had one of my best days for variety today
so i will hit it hard one more time before back to work kids back to
school normality .
