Awesome mate! two halfcrowns in one day!!!! I think I need to give up work so I can go detecting more. I'm lucky if I get out once a week for two or three hours. Can't complain I guess..... at least I have a detector and get to use it.

well guys aint posted in awhile so heres my latest finds for the last few weekends hunts, well just the good ones. the little necklace key pendant has a tiny diamond in the middle so yay my first real diamond even tho its the size of a grain of sand almost lol, the mens silver braclet was in bad shape been hit by a lawnmower several times id say, has inscriptions, and made by h&s made in nz. also silver ring small kids one, and a silver pendant with maybe a black onex ? and then an unusual find what seems to be a babys rolledgold green braclet, gave me a high 81 on AT pro so has a base metal, rolledgold is a longer lasting technique than gold plating, and also some silver coins the best being 2 british shillings a 1889 and a 1898 in the same hole and coins i havnt found before. also got a 1922 penny stamped with west coast T.Q club and a little car and finish flag, very unusual and i cant find anything out about it yet, and a junior red cross badge still with good enamel work on it, and finally a few shillings sixpences and threepences

That T.Q. stands for three quarter as in a 3/4 size racecar. Like the 3/4 midgets at speedway which is what the car looks like, A very cool find. Would be easily sold I'd say as a lot of people collect speedway memorabilia (s.p?).
Looks like you still cleaning up on silvers too! Good to find a diamond, havnt found one yet myself.

hey guys aint posted in awhile so heres some finds from 2 -3 weeks ago and this weekend, had an amazing day today my best ever for silver jewlery. got my first white gold ring 375 3.2grms, and the childs silver signet ring with ruby both were found last week, but the cross, heart locket, virgo pendant?,little hallmarked tin, and silver ring were all found just today!!! woot. and the mangled braclet thingy i got on saturday, but it gives me a 44-45 on the At pro so makes me think it could be white gold, ? its either that or silver not junk. but i cant see how it would give such a low number if it was silver? the little tin is from rolanson brothers silversmiths and is hallmarked 1893 birmingham. also not in the pics is my first ever british half crown 1918, also a 1877 british shilling in good nick. enjoy pics :)
