hehe yer it adds some more to the pile of coins i have now they are everywere lol probably over 170 silver coins in the 6 months ive been going. i was so close to the 200 year old club haha only 2 and a half years off grrr. goodluck out there

hey creamer it was, i didnt relise how old till i got home and cleaned it up. dont think ill find a older coin than that, but you never know metal detecting :) good luck out there

wow thats a nice old coin....as for half crowns my best day with them was 4 half crowns and 4 florins all in the same hunt...... Poohbear here..lol...on roberts computer

Hi Poohbear!

I remember it well. 23/9/2012. Most of them were from a 2m square area, and after you wandered away I went over it and pulled out another half crown. :^)

Wow!! 4 half crowns and 4 florins in one day!!! that's awesome.
I got three half crowns on my last hunt but only one of them was silver.
