Three hour hunt this arvo at a small country domain that I've hunted many times before......never fails to surprise what's been missed!
Hit a small patch of probably a metre square and out popped all the silvers you see here......stoked!

Had another great day out at "the spot" with Erickd. As per usual, he was the ultimate silver-hoover, cleaning up with at least 26.
My day started slow but was helped along nicely by a cool jewelry spill.....two .925 rings and a solid .925 bracelet....not real old but I'll take em....or to be more precise, the wife and daughter will...lol.

Hi Number8 and everyone, nice finds there all round.
I havnt been out lately tho i would like too. Been busy movin house so had to pack up me finds shelf, took forever. Pulled out me ol large treasure box with my special finds in it and was surprised to reveal a strong electrical smell coming from it. Im guessing its because theres many differant metals stored together in there. Maybe i should sort it out a bit better, silver with silver, copper with copper, lead, that sort of thing.. Worried now it might combust.. or ignite, who knows.

Hey mate,
Yep, your onto it. Some of those old metals definitely don't play well together.
I now seperate my silver, copper, lead and brass into different containers.....although silver and any GOLD I find goes into the same ole treasure chest!

Thanks again Erickd for another awesome day at "the spot".
Finished up with 16 silvers including a 1941 half crown and an 1899 threepence.
In the relic camp, there are four lippy cases, an Oddfellows lodge badge, wee teaspoon and a cool old alloy (not silver) vesta case complete with lid, and striker on the base.
