Hi all,
Here's my finds from the weekend. Had a very enjoyable day out with Erickd on Sunday. Once again, Eric slayed the silvers....19 as opposed to my megre effort of 6. Best of the finds for me (besides the coins) were;

A very nice old pocket watch winder by CT White..... and the find that made my weekend (and a big bucket list tick)......

A 1906-07 Christchurch International Exhibition souvenir medalette....my first Chch exhibition find!
All in all, a very satisfying and fun weekend.

Yes Roy, the book says that this medalette was produced in silver, gilt and plain brass. All versions are rated "R4" on the rarity scale....R4 being scarce.

An all day roadie hunt with Erickd and Chrispy today...cheers lads!
Ended my day on eight silvers including a sweet 1817 bullhead shilling, and an 1896 widow head florin in great shape.

Out today with Erickd. Nine silvers and a fist full of other coins including three non silver NZ florins and a 1948 half crown.
Also a cool old surf life saving enamel badge and $15 spendies...already in the wallet...lol.
