went out tonyt with nzpoobear and hunter to hagley park for a short hunt.
used my new garret ace150 and found a few pennys and a nice 1886 half penny but my best find was another
GOLD RING!!! this time 9ct rose gold. bout 6" deep. ive only been detecting for 2 months now and im soooo addicted.

Seriously tho bloody sweet find, you're on a roll dude!! Its quite similar to the signet ring I found a month or so ago with 3 initials on it.

got about 3 hours of huntin in this arvo and had me best silver haul ever. actually got every nz silver bar a crown, rock on.
also the florins are my first, as is the english shilling, yay.

hey guys managed a wee hunt in a north canterbury park on the way home this arvo.
got a few nice silvers and a realy tidy old penny. not a bad way to kill an hour and a half.

well......broke all me records dismornin. went out for a few hours while waiting for a benchtop to be deliverd on site and wahooo.
most coins dug in one hunt..71. most silvers dug in one hunt..15. best pocket spill..3 eng pennys,1 eng half penny an eng shilling
and an eng sixpence. and my oldest coin to date..a 1839 eng shilling in pretty good condition. rock on. i wont bore you with pics
of all the other coins but heres the silvers. happy swingin yall.

managed about an hour on the way home tonyte and scored some interesting coins. got a few pennys
and half pennys and some spendys and these 3 beutys. 1912 eng shilling, 1944 aussy threepence and
a real doozy. a 1835 EAST INDIA COMPANY one quarter anna, really worn.
