Well done. Photos and finds. I average about one special find per 100 coins. Like a ring or broach.

Cheers Mike.

well done. I remember one of my first finds which was a US 1 cent piece. I was thrilled. Basically anything I find I'm fascinated by. Don't let anyone knock what you do. Happy hunting.

broachs are copper and brass. the square one is just shiny copper. i did notice last night googling rare coins that i have a 1920 australian one penny so im gonna tidy it up a bit and see if i can find the extra dots that would make it an indian minted coin. gonna need a big magnifying glass lol.

Thats a great first month Chrispy! Nice silver coins and also I saw an old 1860's penny-great going!
Next you will be needing a large jewellery box and a few big containers for all the coins and trinkets!
There's another to find and I'm gunna find it!

heres all my shiny silver to date. found the shilling and a sixpence in the same hole and the bangle in the same carpark on my latest hunt in heathcote. going to a job and spotted a nice big old tree so went and had a quick look and bingo. not bad for 10 mins detecting.

spent the arvo out huntin with nzpoobear. got 3 silvers,, yay, 2 shillins and an english sixpence. got my first key and a weird badge thing dated 1840-1940 new zealand centennial. obviously something to do with the big centennial celibration or something. looks to be silver over brass.

Awesome wee badge there Chrispy. Googled it but couldn't find an image of it anywhere.........might be a fairly rare badge/coin! Wonder how many got to Chch considering the Centennial celebrations were mainly held in Wellington. Very cool.....well done.

Mike I think you've made an error in your post. Shouldnt that read 'one coin per 100 pull tabs'? Its an easy typo to make, I can edit it for you if required.
