Rank: Gold Ingot Groups: Registered Joined: 22/11/2011(UTC) Posts: 134 Location: auckland Thanks: 22 times Was thanked: 23 time(s) in 19 post(s)		Just thought id say hi from auckland...wow iv seen the gold price and had to see if i could find my fortune iv got a big pan (steel with a little bit of rust as i herd gold sticks to it better)& shovle and my back,s not to bad eather iv just got to get a good pare of boots i was told that most gold guys down south go for red bands? im looking at heading down south to the shotover river as i herd that it was once the richest river in the world...do you think there is still some gold left ? also im not to shure about any rule,s a freind of my,n once told me about the whitebaiting on the coast and how you have to be 20 paces apart from the next man so is it the same with gold ? i hope my questions arnt silly. also i was told that there is gold in the coromandel i thought i,d go there this weekend for a go and try the new pan out. thanks evryone. Search Coromandel to find out that most of the gold there is in quartz and not so easily got at with a pan unfortuneately. There is a good lot of info on etiquette in the general discussions under a heading about the current gold price in nz$. Hope that helps for a start!

Rank: Gold Ingot Groups: Registered Joined: 22/11/2011(UTC) Posts: 134 Location: auckland Thanks: 22 times Was thanked: 23 time(s) in 19 post(s)		Haha yes 1 more....well at least im sticking to my guns you wont see me posting picture,s of nails,keys,toys,1&2 dollar coins etc thats kid,s stuff when i first found this sight it reminded me of the old tresure hunts they put on for the kids down at the beach you no they set up a small section of beach and bury things and the kids dig them up with there hands or small trowel maybe there needs to be a kids page...? and leave the rest of the forum for the men like the magic finds of 1864hatter & gavin and more wow im going to find gold this weekend at the coro iv just got sum boots ,pic ,rock hammer ,pan ,slasher for cutting scrub and shovle also i was wondering if any of you guys use dynamite...? as iv herd most of the gold is in the rocks and a freind of my,n blows up hole,s when he puts fences up so i was thinking of taking some of that to...i hope i dont sound stupid but i like to be prepared. Gelignite I would think is old hat - I wont say what I was going to say because you might do it so I will be a bit more reserved and merely say that you might find it safer to stick to your pick, pan and shovel...Did I say that? Sounds like the epitome of hypocrisy! I might also add that over the years I have used chemical persuasion on many occasions and have ended up dodging rocks whistling past and falling down out of the heavens...in fact I still have quite a few photos of the use of chemical persuasion but the funny thing is that it never really did me much good...I might have sent a lot of rocks to Never Never Land but there sure wasnt much gold under them. Actually a bloke sold me one of those blasting dynamos that you see in the cowboy films and another bloke gave me some electric detonators...Something for me to think about! Haha thats quite funy thanks for the warm welcom....i think! i see there are some dedicated children on here...i dont wont to upset you the last thing i would like todo is make you through all your toys....and sinkers lol out of the cot!! i would look else were but this kid,s stuff seems to be all over this forum you carnt look at any page and not be confronted by child,s play rear coin,s/rings is 1 thing but were do toys and sinkers and nail,s and keys and bits of wire etc go hey iv just thought of it you could open a new page you could call it the "womble page" !!! perfict that way you could happly put that stuff in the rite place as womble,s pick up rubbish 2 !!!
