That half crown looks nice. Ive found three and they are all 1950. Shame about the GOLD ring fallin apart, a top find non-the less.

hi tony,good finds, is the roman chariotier made of brass,its small for a clock,maybe a travelling clock but there is no marks for a handle,still it looks art deco nice piece

Ahhh yes........I can imagine the grin from ear to ear on the "91" Tony.
That's one of the great things about taking the kids on a hunt........They're nearly always positive about expecting the best. My son always tells me that the next hunt will be the one with the BIG gold ring...................hasn't happened yet but he always instills me with confidence before I go.
Love the wee ESSO pump too. Curiously, I haven't found any toys yet other than the butt of a capgun.

fantastic finds tony...sorry i didnt stop in one the way back from lawerence but i was so tiered i didnt know if i would make it home without falling asleep behind the wheel...

as for how it went for me...i found quite a few of the normal stuff in coins and a silver florin very very badly crusted over which is strange for a silver but 1937 is def silver..
as for the gold side of things i didnt get any nuggets but i did get some flakes and had a great great weekend.....enjoyed by all i think..even with the bad weather..
