Goes to show you never know what your next signal will be, and to turn something up like that while chasing spendies is about as good as it gets.

Looks like an Edward...Turn of the century.

I could make the weak joke about it being a 'half' penny

First time out with the new 4.5inch hockey puck coil. Really impressed with its performance in the junky areas.ive got some ketchup if anyone wants it. Earring is probably junk.

A 1933 half crown

Out for a couple of swings today first one by myself got a few spendies and a key.
Then caught up with 270win and got a few more spendies and a .925 silver bit of something that had been hit by a mower. Hallmarked .925 WC.

Went out for a hunt yesterday with the nephew at his local park. A few spendies, some old decimal coins and a probably junk ring.

Well done WestieDigger.

If its a dull grey, try cleaning the ring on the inside as more often than not it's sterling silver.

Cheers

Went on a roady to a faraway east coast Beach sand was deep but the excalibur was dialed in resulting in me digging some very deep holes for a few rusting spendies, sinkers and some space junk needing closer investigation but best find was this Munted 9 carat earing.

Thought I had really done it when I dig this about 6 inches deep next to some old foil.
Sadly the more I cleaned it up the less goldcolored it was.as its only gold plated Its probably safe to say that the gem is only a CZ.
It was extremely exciting to dig up though.
Next time it will be the real thing.
