1 hour tonight. ...same spot.....a very cool find - gold and silver....about the same size as yesterdays 1933 half crown.....need to work out the hallmarks!

Also a 1900 3d.....11 inches deep with the ctx and 17inch coil!

Some kind of large silver and gold necklace pendant. See first photo. Lion hallmark = 925. What does the N mean?

The N is the date mark . 1950 to 1974.
The Lion is English.
No info yet on the 3 sheaves I think they are which should be the makers mark

The 'N" is a date mark, they would change fonts every time they ran through the alphabet. I looked and could not figure out the year.

The middle one looks like a City of Chester (England).

I thought it looked kind of like the 1913, but not exactly. It looked more like the 1738, but not exactly like that either. Seems to be the way of hallmarks :)

Quick hunt today in Grey Lynn - bit of a waste of time...about $10 and two 1/2 pennies! On the way home stopped at an older park and found about 8 inches down this very old wedding band. Cant read the hallmark...

You guys sure are cleaning up with the ctx3030's! And they go so deep too! The Goldbug goes no deeper than the F2. Was quite disappointed about that.
