Nice work PB. I didn't find any silver coins this weekend but a friend and I were taking turns with my detector (when the rain finally stopped) at a camp and people were making fun of us because we were just finding 1 and 2 cents. Then I pulled out this big chunk of a silver ring right in front of the whole group. Changed their tone after that. I think we ended up with $9 too.

That ring, even broken, looks better than your fingers. I think you might need a trip to the nail parlor to get those things worked on.

Pictured is a Platinum, 5mm wide wedding ring with a soft rounded band in a Polished finish.
$2,295 NZ

Layby from $76 NZ/Weekly*

The above copied from a local jewelers site
Sort of gets the heart going a bit Max.

No doubt you will need to get a few prices if you decide to sell that one.

With my GB it was at the top scale, i noted it somewhere- will let you know exactly
Most of my gold rings come in 50-55 scale(as per GB manual actually) and i have to dig everything pretty much to get High Cart gold.

Low carat gold comes at higher scale depending on the alloy. Like 9C rings that are yellow alloy (assume bronze) come at 70+

Not be a buzz kill but platinum is worth slightly less than gold. Nice ring though.

but slightly more than silver...hahaha very nice ring...and thanks for the info on where your gold rings come in at with the GB...the only gold ring i found was 9CT and it came in at 54 on my GB...so now i wonder if i have missed any gold rings...lmao...i have passed over plenty of signals in the 50's thinking it was junk by the high pitch tone.

Hi Poohbear. I dont have that many silver rings but your finds seem to be about the same ratio as mine.
I worked out the other day that say 70 trips-1200 coins is around 15-17 coin finds on average per trip.
