Tonz, great to see a detectorist in the news for all the right reasons. I used to have quite a few of those shadow boxes but got rid of them in a garage sale many years ago, bugggggar it.

hi tony,hope thats a nugget.look at the aus penny 1919 is a bit of a key date look for dots around the one penny above and below i cant remember why maybe minted in india a bit rarer,look on the net

I think that your fork just might be silver plated - lets say an intelligent guess.

As for the 'nugget' - it surely looks nuggety so I really think that it might be wise to take it to a jeweller. Any decent jeweller would willingly and gladly test it for you...good luck with it as you really never know. It may well have been dropped by an old timer back in the good old days...'If in doubt check it out.'
