I love my CTX I wish I had just manned up and bought it straight away as a first detector. my Excalibur is sitting unused in the laundry and my Euroace has flown to Europe to fulfill its destiny and hunt hammys and viking hoards.

Turn on target trace. Target trace allows you to interpret multiple targets.

I have had most success using the built in silver mode.

I am using the standard coil so the balance is pretty good but I will purchase a proswing harness Sooner or later.

Out for a quick swing at 3d Spot again.
Am now convinced that I am following a old clothes line or fence line as all the coins are found in a in a 2 metre wide straight line.
Anyway here's the goodies no silvers tonight but got a 1910 britainia penny in reasonable condition that I think is my oldest coin so far.
Missing is a cruddy britainia half penny I gave to a kid who came up for a nosey and a chat.
