Anybody up for a group search on Friday evening? I finish work around 5 and am keen to get a little hunting in for an hour or three.

Any takers?

Yep, I'd be keen to get more finds/hours under my belt.. Or rather, see if my Hagley luck continues.

But I won't be able to get there until about 6:30-7:00.

Might make it no promises when we figure where.
I think expat wants to show us how well his new detector works. Probably finds stuff right under the earth were standing on!
OMG.
Cheers Mike.

Watch and weep Mike.

Hows about meeting in the car park off Park Terrace and wandering into Nth Hagley?

Hi Chris, nothing super special but a superb discriminator. Whites DFX. A dual frequency machine.
Over the years I've had probably five or six Whites machines so I'm a bit brand loyal. Interesting to see how it copes with Hagley.

That's the main car park off the end of Armagh Street, yeah. I thought they were locking that up around 6:30-7:00?

From memory, it's locked at 7.30pm in winter and 9pm in summer.

1) Is there usually room to park outside on the road anywhere?
2) Are you coming along Andy?

I think you can park along some parts of Harper Ave? (between Hagley North and Little Hagley)

Would really like to come along for a catch up but the wife told me I've used up all my detecting quota for the week! Def keen for another time, maybe a club meeting?

It's finally Friday afternoon!

Not long to go now.. I feel like a crack-head about to get his next fix.. I made myself a 'test' find pouch last night out of one of those re-usable bags like Supermarkets/etc have, hand stitched and all.. Never thought of myself as much of a needle-and-thread fella, but being honest 'hand stitched' in this case refers to 'cheap' not 'quality', lol.. Might get a friend to whip up a light-weight canvas jobby on her sewing machine when I find a style I like.

Should be better than carrying a whole shopping bag around tonight though.
