My 350 works fine most of the time in the salty ground the hardest being the low tide mark. If the hard is not too far down even better. I have found that you need at least 4 notches on the sensitivity as 3 gives you hardly any depth within reason. Ground balancing is too hard so i just move slower. This has taken a long time to master and can be frustrating at first. Crisyboy is hard out on the shallow beaches with his 250 and he finds heaps. .
