Thought it was time to put a few finds up and not hijack someone elses page.

Only been for a couple of hunts lately and I've really enjoyed getting back into it. Great stress relief, all I need to do now is make the time to go for more hunts.

$67 in Goldies
$5 Aussie Goldies
US 1 Cent
Silver ring is stamped 925 but dubious.
Gold ring is 18ct
Lots of yet to be identified stuff.

Yup detector has paid for it self in one on one counseling.
Smack on $30 in goldies today and I'm about 1/4 of the way through the park but I think I've hit the hot spots so finds from now will most likely drop off, in saying that there is plenty of good signals to go back to and there was very little rubbish, just got tired in the heat and swinging the liddle coil so decided to go for petrol money.

Good Luck.

I was close found $22 in goldies and a 1936 Sixpence but my favourite find is my oldest coin so far a 1866 Penny. It's worn down a but has a really nice smooth feel to it, could post a pic but pretty sure everyone has a seen a penny before.

I could have been doing a lot better but where I have been hunting has been very dry so I was only hunting in the greener patches, probably should have done it the other way around and dug in the already dying grass then in theory it will all grow back at the same rate.
We've had some rain so might go for an early hunt but as I now have that darn flu it might just have to wait till the weekend.

Before everyone gets a chance to post their Easter finds here are mine.
Was a good day hunting out with the kids. My 1st 1935 Shilling and my first token that's not a time zone token so pretty happy with those. $16 gas money. Unfortunately green car fell apart when I picked it up after photo, oh well dems the breaks!

Here is todays finds but with a difference... they were given to us ages ago and we stumbled onto them today.
They aren't worth anything but I have a fondness for international coins, many of these I have found before but of course not in as good condition as these. thought you guys might like seeing something a little different from the norm.

Last time I saw you you didnt tell me you had a fondness of International coins - I have a few hundreds or maybe a Kg or two which I told Mad Madam Mim I might get rid of as I only collect what you have seen so maybe I can drive your detector and you to distraction sprinkling them liberally around Dunedin....and to compound things a few kgs of one and two cent pieces and halfpennies and pennies.

Hi Graeme.

Yeah I like the Internationals doesn't matter if they have no value, they are just something a little different.
We were looking through the coins and thinking about this coffee table idea, just a shame that it wouldn't be that easy to see the reverse side of the coins, well not without making a very thick sheet of resin, hey if they can do it with toilet seats surely it can't be that hard for a coffee table.

Yeah we need to go for a hunt and get some good stuff, think next time all goldies should be put towards BK as I usually find about $25 I should probably also purchase a hole punch to let out ye old belt.

Design the coffee table in such a way that the legs unscrew and you turn it over and screw the legs onto the former top and then you have two coffee tables in one.

I might start off with a few coasters to get the process right.

Lots of research first it's always the simple thoughts that somehow become complicated.
