Cheers exkiwi123, I did enquire a while back about subscriptions etc from the gg@t website/hq and it was pretty damn expensive for the postage if I recall correctly. I may have to chase it up again. I see you worked for Naylor Love back in the 70's. My grandfather was a foreman in the Dunedin yards for many years. There is a book called "a bob both ways" about the full history of Bob Naylor and Bob Love and Naylor Love the company from the very start till modern day. I'm sure it mentions the Haast Pub.

You can get the magazine sent over no problem. I used visa to get a three year subscription which from memory was something in the order of $100 to $120 odd per year. Just email them and it will be organised with no problems at all.

Cheers.

P.S. If you go over or know someone going, who has a little time to check out the gold shops, they often have some back issues which could be brought back over - saves postage!

My father sent me my copy of the Naylor Love book......I'm guessing you could find it with google...the name is: "A Bob Both Ways" by Rosemarie Patterson.

I'll get a subscription og g.g&t when I have more spare cash. Don't want to put you out. Thanks anyway. :)

I have some magazines, pretty old but still good reading, that I would be happy to "circulate" around those who would like them. If anyone is interested, PM me your names and addresses.

I can send a couple to one person with stickies to put on envelopes for the next people in the list. My name would be the last one to go on so I do get them back. I would do the same for other magazines and so on. A bit like the old stamp books that used to be send around to people.

I've subscribed to both Gold Gem & Treasure and the Gold Prospectors Assciation of America and my mags keep going missing ! I 've contacted both mags and they say they have sent them , so the only thing I can think of is the Postie is taking a shine to them.

Now that would really p1ss me off! Does sound suspicious though that they are coming from diff countries and both going missing.
