Hey guys

Me and my mate went gold hunting in otago just got back last night with ~32.5grams of gold between us. I got 17.5g and 11 grams of that I got yesterday from the crevasse of awsomeness where I also got my biggest nugget yet (3.4grams).
Pretty good haul for 2.5 days of work.

Now that sounds like a con trick! OK where do you think the area is? - I am curious, because yes some people can indeed tell gold from one location apart from another but THAT gold could be from one of many places and I for one would really need to see it close up and in my hand to be able to hazard an intelligent guess even - though I can tell right away where it isnt from.

I did not ask where he found it!? I asked the man "how was it found" Put your glasses on before you get titchy.
I may be way off when I say I think I know the AREA. I didn't say I know what stream, but you get a feel for an area after a while, the type of gold found there, and the ROCKS which are found in that area.
Not trying to stir sh!t................... Ahhh well. You cannot beat talking face to face.........

By the way, well done YellowFever, and I'm sorry that I stirred up a beesnest in your thread. Good luck to you.
