Well took my son out for his first real hunt to hagley today..only thee for a couple of hours and he pulled 14 coins and a brass tap out of the ground.....ok accually i pulled them out of the ground but he found them with his F2..i just dug them for him..lol...he had a ball and was very excited after he found the first 2 coins...then after the fith he found his first 2 dollar coin..
and the last coin he found befor we went home for T was the shilling..oh he was excited with that one...couldnt wait to tell my wife and her mom..lol..
Love when he is that excited about an outdoor hobbie.

I can see it now - the human excavator - craters of the moon. At least he has a great hobby and into the bargain one that brings a return and many happy surprises and moments. Go for gold - and I dont mean one and two dollars pieces.

Well his second outing and he hits silver again...we met up with robert in ashburton domain....brendon got his second silver
A 1936 thrupence....i told him if he got one a year older i would trade him for a newer one...he didnt buy it..lmao..he knew i was up to something.
also he got a 1920 penny
then robert found a silver.

Hahaha thanks keith,i hope he does push me to the parks in my wheel chair..lol..ill attach my detector to the front of it..
