Very interesting indeed - these restriction are being imposed so subtly and over a long period of time so that younger fellows do notice them but not to the degree us oldies do and compared with when we were in our twenties we are virtually enslaved with few rights, fewer freedoms and far more restrictions and only the elitist rich and wealthy can do many of the things which were once the realm and right of us all.
Anyone could take have a miners right giving the right to fossick on crown land for the mere fee of about five shillings per annum and if they wished to take out a claim the costs were minimal and the hearing, in the case of Otago, took place in Alexandra at the Wardens Court. Objections were heard there and a reasonable, logical, on the spot explanation was all that was required as I found back in 1971 - 1972.
At this precise point in time the people who are being persecuted in all different walks of life should support each others interests, respect each others right, fight for each other even if it is not their particular interest, and get rid of the rich and wealthy, the bankers and those other ultimate consumers who think they rule the roost so that the small man has the power and their rights are reinstated.
An interesting article and only one of many...the tip of the iceberg as they say. Thanks for pointing it out.
