Would have to watch out for d1ckheads being friday night. I had a nice maori fella offer to show me how to use my detector properly the other evening. I declined.

I have a friend who is finding lots of maori etc artifacts next to a certain river lately due to earthquake damaged ground and there was a lot of early settler activity in this same spot.....would be a good spot perhaps......roughly woolston area.
