Hi all,

I was looking at getting a couple of wetsuits, one for warmer temperatures and one when its cold.

I was interested in the full body wetsuit.

Never bought any before so any info would be useful.

The Warehouse is having a sale on the BodyGlove brand which looks like the warm temp wetsuits,

does anyone recommend or use this brand?

Everyone has different ideas and thats why everyone buys differently. They also buy for different reasons - a more efficient suit for colder climates and water would be suited to Otago conditions and a lighte rone for up north.

For years I used Moray 7mm wet suits and they were as good as you got and suited me even in snow melt water with both snow and ice on the banks - they were a three piece so trousers, jacket and hood.

My last suit was an Apollo 8mm and take it from me that they were just far too tiring - you wanted to walk with straight legs and you had to bend your arms against the jacket arms so that your arms wanted to sort of 'twang' back out straight - bending them to work was sort of tiring business!

It will be interesting what others who have had a great deal of experience with wet suits have to say because after all these years I am also think ing of getitng a new one to replace my Apollo which is nearly 'as new' due to the tiredness that quickly caught up with me wearing it for gold mining.
