The Baton River has just had the biggest flood for 20 years last week-guess where I'm going!

I am heading to Reefton on Tuesday for a funeral .. might have to throw the gold pan in to see if the buller has coughed up any nuggets.

Had to have a look on Google Earth to find out where the Baton River was. Love that programme. Another place which has shown up some gold in the past is the Tadmor River, which isn't too far off the beaten track. Might be a place to look at in the Christmas holidays
