nice. these guys deserve every little(?!) bit of gold they find. it's hard to appreciate how hard it would be in so hot a conditions to detect over in oz. plus the snakes, scorpions etc to contend with.

thinking about heading over next winter. when i say winter, its just a little bit cooler and easier to work in slightly lower temps.

Im heading away for a 10 day camping/prospecting trip around central otago shortly. Fingers crossed the photos of my exploits will be similar, although to be honest i would be happy with grams instead of ounces.
