Christchurch City Hunt

Ash was still hunting when I left the park this morning, but had already found a handful of interesting items.. One of which looked rather interesting and will need some research. I enjoyed the hunt and meeting up with another detectorist. Karl wasted me in the old coins department today, i didn't end up finding a single pre decimal. Lots of bottle caps, $13 in goldies and 33c of old currency, and other bits of trash made up my finds. Most interesting things i found were half of a tag/medal and some other object i have no clue about. I'll get some decent pics of them soon, but till then... My memory is getting worst as I am getting older.. Will have to get together again on another hunt Ash Sorry it was so early.. But i am up for an evening hunt any night this week as i have the use of a car until friday.. Cheers

I was there a few months ago when they were dredging the lakes and I found a few old bottles.. one of which was a torpedo.. Unfortunately it was broken.. -K
