Rank: Gold Dust Groups: Registered Joined: 16/10/2011(UTC) Posts: 7 Location: hamilton Was thanked: 1 time(s) in 1 post(s)		when you say lots of good things up my way what are you referring to? i have only ever found quartz with specs of fools gold ,where would you go if you were up here ? from my understanding the karangahake gorge is the wrong place for panning and detecting as the gold is very fine and that is why cyanide was used to separate it ?,Ive already got 10 odd kilo of rock under my bed and in the garden from around the place but finding some actual sign would be nice for a change :) thanks
