I was looking at this web page: Coin Types

Pretty interesting seeing all the different types of NZ and British coins over the years. It seems I need to do more digging to have a complete collection.

One of my aims is to have a coin of each type for every year of mintage from 1967 (year of decimal introduction) back at least 100 years. My mother gave me her collection a couple of weeks ago which has greatly added to the pre-dec's I have found. Now I just have to score a few albums and start dating and working them all out. Was never really interested in coins until starting this hobby - now they fascinate me!

I collect everything! As for coins I began when I got my first metal detector about 1980 and being one of the early ones to detect coins got some good ones including a lot of British silver - I also buy coins and collect only really good ones - Specialise in British pre 1921, USA pre 1921 and Ancient world and must have a fair few Kgs of coins surplus to my requirements from other countries which I will swap to a good home so that if anyone is into general world coins then I have them!
