hi from oz, beaches no good decided on some land digs ,dropped on a rearly good site some old stuff to find, found a bucket list item ive wanted since coming to oz a slouch hat rising sun, close by a aussie arm badge and some cool other stuff,pennies , halfpennies iam sure theres some silver there too.good luck to all.

Some super cool stuff there Roy well done indeed.

That rising sun is awesome ..... In the last few years since detecting, I've often thought about the one (the same or similar) I used to play with/admire as a kid in a box of other old treasures.

Crazy thing is I'm not a hundred % sure where it is now...... Hoping it's somewhere safe at my fathers place.

Awesome Roy. Gotta love that rising sun badge....such an iconic style. Immediately makes you think of the old WW1 Aussie digger. Great digging mate. Hope to see more treasures from that spot.
