Owned an F2 for 1 week and found GOLD!

Shame its all rusty inside. Cant make out a name but has a hammer type hallmark and the number beside the carat is illegible....it looks about the same colour as my 9 carat ring. In any case (not gold case) it can still go into your treasure container with all the other goodies you are going to find.

I noticed after about an hour that the date is actually xmas 1933....funny how 25.12.33 didnt register as xmas.

Good powers of observation and deduction re the 25.12.33 as I might have taken it as a registration number or identification number placed on it by the Jeweller or watchmaker who sold it but yes I am sure that you will be quite correct.
