Just interested in finding out, if any of those that visited hagley park over the weekend, found anything good down by the drainage creek by the netball courts?

The only reason I ask is because I noticed the spots which had been dug recently.

sorry i was never told which big trees or where in the park
if one was to look round the site of a band retunda i would say they would or should do well as people would sit on the grass on a sunny sunday afternoon just to hear the band and let their coins fall out of there pockets

Hi pacific treasure. I still don't know how to upload pictures so they show in the post. But this is how I do it. Here is a photo of two large copper pins or nails from a piece of timber I found at a beach in Dunedin this year. The timber would be from an old sailing boat, and one nail in particular is massive as you can see.

When I post I check the box on the bottom left saying "attach files to post". Then I press the "post" button. Then when it goes to the next page I "browse for the picture" that I have saved. Then press "upload", then press "back" and it should then come up.

Cool finds there pth5735! Good to find some silvers.
Those copper nails are cool tonznz. I grew up in St Clair and lost many a toy on that beach. If only I could remember what! How much do those nails weigh?

and if you know how to shrink you pics down to about 500 pixels they will show right up on the page instead of ppl having to download them.
