This drove my detector nuts.
The picture doesn't show that it is shiney and also appearance is too peachy, underside picture was taken in different light.
It is very light so not silver, but perhaps Pyrargyrite?
Hope its not alumium that has been washed around beach for 20 years.
There were many other electrical components nearby, a strip of copper and small capacitor, potentially it could be the inside of a battery.
As it is my first real treasure and nugget I've been stroking it all day long, calling it "my precious", I do hope it is not toxic!

Sorry, Looks like a well aged blob of molten beer can or outboard motor to me.

Get used to them, you'll have many, many more.

Once when sniping for gold I had a hideously memorable experience. I was looking for nuggets edged in bedrock cracks underwater when I spied this shiny gold bit of metal the size of a match box jammed in a rack. I got It out quick smart but as I did the golden tarnish came off to revealed the mangled blob of aluminium it really was. Terrible disappointment. As for your blob. Aluminium for sure. If you're finding aluminium you generally are in the wrong spot
And now....On sandy beaches and muddy soil, rings and coins await my coil!
