Howdy folks I didnt detect these but was wondering if you guys would reckon they worth anything as you can see ive got a few pennys to search through dates etc from left to right there is a 1898 victoria half crown 1906 edwad V11 penny and georges from 1912 -20 cheers-andy

Just noticed this one languishing in the dusty recesses with no replies, so I'll have a crack...

Not an expert by any means, but pick of the bunch would be the half crown.
In VF condition these can go for around $50, unfortunately yours is very worn - I'm guessing maybe $10?

The pennies have also had a hard life in thousands of pockets over the years, I'd expect a couple of bucks each.

Don't try and clean them up, just put a nice detailed pic up on TradeMe with say, a $5 reserve and see what the market is willing to pay.
If it closes with nothing higher than $2.50, then chances are that's the market value.

Be aware that coin catalogues list retail prices, collectors never pay that, usually only about 10-20% of retail.

If it were me, I'd keep the Vicky HC and add it to the silvers.

yup I agree with Mudwiggle, not really worth much, unless you polish up the pennys drill a hole in the top, make a necklace and sell them somewhere
