Anyone keen to team up on the Shore for a dirt hunt in the morning, or a beach session in the afternoon? You will find that there are better detectors for the beach than a gold bug. Unfortunately the salt water disagrees with most single frequency vlfs such as the gold bug. Trust me, I have tried. Both my gold bugs are now in permanent storage in the south island for when I get down there on holidays and hunt gold nuggets.
