Hi All

Sam was a well known Chinese gold miner. Who frequented the West Coast Gold Fields. He lived alone, having never taken a wife.
He preferred opium, as he said, it kept him unfocussed. On the pleasures of the flesh. Many years ago I came across Sams dairy, written in very poor engleesh. Sam was known on the gold fields as Pigtail Wong Wong. But he was a very astute goldminer. Sadly he died of dementia. 300 ozs of flake and smallish nuggets. In his last entry in his dairy, he reveals the location of where he buried his stash. " My lastee gold I putt into the earth, knot faar from my hut. On the track to the town with know name. It was at the root of a tree, and on the tree I nailed a horshoe.
Cause white poeople think a horshoe good luck. But nott think to dig.

Oh well thats enough clues.

Cheers Trev aka " The Hatter"

When the hell are you going to write a book. You're already a legend with your stories and yarns, probadly give poor old Crumpy a run for it. I'd be the first in line to get a signed copy. Get on with it.

Cheers

I guess I should start digging all those large "rubbish" signals.
And now....On sandy beaches and muddy soil, rings and coins await my coil!

The town with 'Know name" would be Nemona?

Plenty of Chinese living in and around that area in the late 1800s and into the 1900s.

Nemona is anagram of No name, Noname Road still exists today following the same deviation as it did in the late 1800s.

It's a cool story hehe.
