I found this strange object while detecting in the weekend.
I have no idea what it is!
Can anyone help?
On the reverse, it looks as if wires have once been soldered on the back, one on each of the knobs.
The object is 6 cm in diameter.

maybe a home made detector coil ? or part of a cheap Chinese detector that someone was frustrated with and smashed it to bits.
