Well i went out for 2 hours today to my local park just to pass a bit of time befor T....i didnt do great but not bad either
but boy was i ever surprised when i got NOT 1 but 2 rings in that time...the little silver one has the 925 stamp in it which means it is silver if im not mistaken..the other one has something writen in it...it is very heavy and has what looks like a trademark sign with 1998 beside it then under that it says "the alchem____arta....where i have those underlines is rubed off on the ring hence the space..but under that it say MADE IN ENGLAND then it has some other stamp marks on it on either side of made in england and a couple under it.
So not sure what it is other than a ring with the star of david on it and a rose on either side just heading down to the band.

Hi Pooh- 925 is sterling silver-92.5% silver with the rest copper if memory serves. The other ring-not a star of David-its a pentagram.Usually associated with pagans these days so you might want to return that one lol!

A bit of work with Google. The ring is made by Alchemy Gothic and most likely Pewter? Link to their site here:

Alchemy Gothic

And pictures of a similar one here:

Also congrats on the silver!

I think pewter is heavy - I am pretty certain that pewter was originally a mixture of lead and tin but modern pewter ifs far from that mixture as it is now mostly tin (about 90 or 95 percent maybe a bit more) with silver, copper and something else added I think. I know that modern pewter is actually very valuable and second fiddle only to platinum, gold and silver

Thats good going - like the silver - its a pity the photos not clearer as I am sort of wondering if the badge with the flag is a steamship company badge???

NZPB, as a photography tip your treasures would look a lot more appealing without your ugly mug in the background, other than that darn good finds.
