hi guys. a mate has put me on to a new gold related tv show made on the west coast of nz.

the 1st episode ran on friday on channel 7 about 11am i think. not sure what its title is.

good for a laugh but its no gold rush alaska!

so far they have made scales, a sluice, a detector (yes thats right they made one!).

a bit strange but at least they were finding gold. they might even get more than the alaska guys.

Sounds interesting. What do you mean by channel 7 though? Is that on freeview, saturn or sky?
Anyone know the name of this program?
Fisher Goldbug Pro, Fisher F2, Garrett Propointer.

Yep, Rough Science. A bunch of boffins from the UK came out to experience the Coast in all of its glory. Filmed a few years ago now but still pretty interesting. The look for gold, measure how fast a glacier is moving and how long ago an earthquake occurred. Enjoyable to watch
