Because we didn't have very much snow up here, I went out for a couple of hours with the shovel and sluicebox. Cleaned off about 4 square metres of bedrock.

I always thought it was good to get the odd shotgun pellet or two, it shows you are in the right zone.

However, I think this is overdoing it.

Wicked...some gold at last!!.....been to many coin,s etc of late on here for my likeing....nice to see your keeping the tree huggers happy to...well done....pretty cool how the mercury sticks to gold aye...

Hi Gary, Well done mate & yes good to see some gold. Wow that is one hell of a lot of lead pellets & bullet heads. Did you use you crevice sucker to clean up that bed rock??

Used that PVC/tennis ball sucker. It really drags the loose stuff off the bottom.

101gms of lead. I wonder how the detectors would go up the creek. You would be doing a lot of digging I think.

Far out - that's a ridiculous amount of lead to find in one outing. And I get annoyed when I dig two rubbish targets in a row while out detecting! Glad to see some you won some gold for your efforts too - there's nothing more satisfying than seeing that flash of colour to say it hasn't all been for nothing.
