Terrorism - An interesting word - what or who is a terrorist - Is the man who sits at a computer in Nevada in the USA flying by computer control a drone aircraft which fires a missile into a home of an Al Quada suspect killing two men, five children and two women the terrorist or is the terrorist the suicide bomber in his own country who throws himself at a US Hummer killing five armed soldiers who should not have been there in the first place the terrorist?
You have to remember that 'Terrorists' are only EVER on the 'other' side...something to think about methinks.

Maybe when the US has trillions to spend and uses it on military vehicles then the only form of effective warfare to combat such expense is actually Guerilla warfare OR so called terrorism - warfare 'on the cheap'

Hi Haystacka,

Can you let us know the condition of the Porika track. A few years ago I could get the 2-wheel drive up to New Creek, but the last time I tried the road was too scoured out. Its it possible to get the 2-wheel drive up there at present?

Thanks Gary for getting this forum back to where I feel it is supposed to be.

Hey guys, I'm a government worker and therefore your employee, having been in the Air Force for 9 years and the Navy for 26 before that. I voted at the last election as I have voted every election since I turned 18 a long time ago. Yes I don't like the idea of foreign companies coming in and taking our gas and mineral reserves but I'd like to see if any NZ company has the financial capacity and the skills to pillage our land like they do.

By the way, clouds are clouds, and apart from exhaust, there is no mind altering chemicals in contrails

Interesting - Has the US the financial capacity to invade the countries they have interfered in the politics of - NO - they create it - the government prints bonds which are worth no more than the paper they are printed on - delivers bonds to the Federal Reserve, a private institution, they in turn print trillions of dollars on blank pieces of paper which in truth are worth only the value of the paper and ink they are printed on...and assigning a value to it call it money!!!

As far as I am concerned we should FREEZE all assets of overseas interests in NZ, annex them into State ownership and use them to our benefit - hard line. As for the finances - yes we can create the finances by ensuring that all gold and mineral wealth is retained within THIS country - at the moment it goes offshore and we get a 1 or 2% royalty!

I am quite sure that some NZ companies could indeed pillage the land as they do - big outfits like Lunds and Fulton Hogan could certainly make a start! If all else fails start small - then go big, ploughing the income from the gold back into the business.

In New Zealand there was a time when WE WERE the big operators with the most advanced and extensive Gold mining machinery in the world, a pioneer in the dredging industry - of course people would whinge when Cromwell Flat was about to be processed in entirety but they did that anyway when the Clyde Dam was built!

And is the gold there? I knew a fellow once who had seventeen pickle jars full of gold under his bed in the pub! He once told me that he got 700 ounces in one spot one evening and 160 in another spot - too this day I do not know whether to believe him or not but the fact is that history records him and his partners finding more gold than most could every dream of. He wanted me to form a partnership with him in 1970 but I was interested in fifty fifty and he wanted merely to employ me while he supervised...no thank you...but I do know where it was he was interested in and it is not far from where he and his partners found a fortune back many years ago.

The mineral wealth in this country is immense - I have photos here of one private home grown operation in which 35 ounces a day was recovered every day for four years - theres still more gold to come out of this land than was ever taken out.

Ive got some bad news; at the center of every cloud droplet exists a cloud condensation nuclei. These CCN typically consist of aerosols or dust particles. These particles are typically required in the processes of cloud formation as a medium for attracting water vapor, leading to subsequent condensation. Although these particles make a very small proportion of a cloud droplet there are million of cloud droplets in a rain droplet and as a raindrop travels through the sky it attracts even more atmospheric particles. This is the reason for such clear skies after rain.

Despite this there is little chance of mind altering chemicals being put into the atmosphere through contrails, this would be rather ineffective. A much more effective means would be to put a mind dulling chemical, say fluoride, into our water supply.

But this has little relevance to this forum or haystackh's interest in finding a partner.
PS Hope you had a great day out, still a bit cold down the southern end of the country but summers on its way
