We managed to pull nine NZ silvers out of the ground: 7x threepence, unfortunately one gakked :(, 1x sixpence and 1x shilling. We also got 6x pennies, earliest: 1904, three halfpennies including a ship halfpenny. Huge area, doubt it has ever been detected. Great to find suspected virgin ground to keep us busy for a while

Rechecked my rubbish pouch and, low and behold, 2x NZ silver threepences hidden in the lining (sneaky little things). That brings the total for this hunt up to 11.
