To all those into black sand mining .

Forget your rubber car Mats can't catch dirt in the car let alone gold . Use a gold cube it catch flour gold and you can pump in a 20 litre bucket in ten minutes then separating the gold from your concentrates is another job

Well Trigger

The ole Gold Cube surfaces again. You can thank me aka " The Hatter" for the Gold Cube. And of course Mike Pung from America who designed it and markets it. After a little help from me. "The Hatter"moves in many circles.

A rather large gold cube

The MK1 version of the gold cube. Me in the pic when I was about 30. 67 years old now,

The MK2.

Oh those were the days, black sanding. May I now arise lol.

Here is a wee project of mine. Using a blow up, aka hydraulic elevator to feed a Keene sluice and the cube. Get the flakey gold and then the fines in the Cube. Mike sent me one for free.

Me walking the plank. The good ole Pirate days lol

Five and a half ounces for five days work. On the streaming table. And yes we ran the concentrates again.
The Cube would have been so much quicker and easier.

My Claim was Tauranga Bay, Westport. And I lived there, and the view out my ranch sliders was my claim and the beach.

Neat eh. I sold it. Yep those were the days.

Long live the Cube.

So the tip here is 'invent a gold catching machine' but stay in Tauranga Bay haha 😉
Awesome beach
