Interesting stuff! A mate of mine who I previously worked with said his father came across an old DC3 in the bush up Otaki way while hunting, still had the bodies of the pilots on board, found it in the 60's or 70's. Had been missing since the 40's. Americans came out and recovered the bodies, plane is probably still in the hills there somewhere!
