Started out early this morning and went to my "bushy spot" and scored 18 Silver coins including a brit half crown and brit florin.
Also what looks to be American men's ring with the eagle on and sterling inside, missing a stone.
And a heap of penny's, and couple old lead bullets, and not forgetting the trash. Found an old wallet with a shilling and 3 penny's in it with some transcript of some sort.

Wow what a great hunt Erick.
Specially the ring and the purse. Can you read
the note from the purse?

Looks like it was a admission pass to something, and was on a cardboard backing

Yeah I'm chuffed, first time to that spot with the Fisher F75 and must say it's one awesome machine. The half crown and florin were a pocket spill and it would have sounded like a dirty old can on my old machine but the f75 separated the ID, I would have gone over that spot a few times in the past as it was near where I parked the car. Also the fast grab ground balance I think is a must to do every so often while hunting.
It was a 5 hour hunt and last time I was there I only nabbed 6 silvers in the same area with the F4.
Lol I'm sounding like a Fisher salesman

The ring looks like one of those American Military rings....the ones issued to servicemen during wartime. They were issued to all branches of the service and from what I've read, each service had a different coloured central stone...ie, Navy was Blue, Army was green...etc... probably a WW2 drop.
Sweet find.
Gotta love them BIG silvers too....awesome!

Think you are right no8, and I'm sure I saw a glint of red in the Centre then lost it

Red was the US Marines stone colour.
Congrats on the toy canon in the other post too.....sweet score, and not a common find at all.
