Choked on the $$$ needed for a genuine Garrett plastic scoop. So went to rural supply chain and got me the same scoop for $7 minus the holes. Obviously a few minutes with a drill will get this sand scoop up and running. I don't want to go round dropping 3d silvers all over the beach so if the diameter of a nz 3d silver coin was 16mm. What's a safe size to make the holes? I am thinking of drilling them at 13mm?
